I received a lovely email last week from Rachel Richter telling me that she'd been browsing the Mathilda's Markets website and clicked through to my site. She said one of the dresses looked very familiar and when she looked back at a photo shoot she'd done she was sure it was a Little Diva Designs dress:
It sure is and doesn't little Chloe look just divine! What a beautiful little girl and what gorgeous photography.
I looked further at Rachel's blog and her photos are so beautiful. Rachel is a photographer based on Brisbane's southside and has been photographing families and children for six years.
Click here to see more photos of Chloe and also here for the website of Rachel Richter Photography.
Thank you Rachel and Chloe's mum for letting me post this photo on my blog and thanks to Rachel for emailing me...
P.S. The citrus fabric is running out and has been discontinued so click here if you want to buy one of your own...

The Snigglebottoms are stars...
I was just checking out the blogs I follow and was excited to see my Snigglebottom's and Etsy store featured on the Kookie blog.

Kookie was created to showcase "Handmade in Australia" products and they also do product reviews and giveaways. So please visit their blog and support handmade in Australia.
The Snigglebottom's are also currently featured on the Haby Goddess blog . They are down the left hand side helping promote this very blog as "Craft Blog of the Week". Jodie, who runs "The Haby Goddess" store is just lovely and she stocks some gorgeous things like fabric covered buttons, cupcake crochet patterns, iron on transfers and lots more cute things.
Click here to visit her online store.... you won't be sorry.
By the way, I've just sold my friend Leroy (the one below on the right) and he's off to a Baby Shower tomorrow. Have fun Leroy...

Victorian Bushfires and Australia's Generosity...

No doubt you all know by now of the horrific fires that have devastated parts of Victoria, Australia in the past week. It's a very sad situation and to date 181 people have lost their lives with many more still missing, huge amounts of wildlife have been wiped out and with a thousand homes burnt to the ground, there are many people who have been left homeless.
There are still 21 bushfire's currently burning across Victoria so the threat of more disaster is still there, particularly with more hot weather on the way next week. But the most sickening thing of all is the thought that some of the fires have been deliberately lit !! It's just unfathomable that someone could actually do that !!
My thoughts go out to those who have lost loved ones and their homes.
The great thing is Australians are amazing in times of need and even in these hard economic times, Australian businesses and individuals have so far managed to donate AUD $63 million dollars !! Help will be needed for quite some time so if you can spare some money, even a few dollars, please visit the Red Cross website to donate.
The crafting community has also organised many great auctions, toy donations and fundraising to help out. Handmade Help is a dedicated website you can visit to become involved - whether you're a crafter or want to help by making a purchase. There is also an Etsy site called Oz Bushfire Appeal where hundreds of items have been donated by Etsy sellers in Australia and Worldwide and proceeds will be going to the Red Cross. I donated two of my handmade cushions last night and I'm happy to say one has already sold. Click here to see the listing for the second one.
UPDATE 16FEB: They have now raised over AUD $10,000 through the Oz Bushfire Appeal Etsy store!!
