We're nearly halfway through the busy, busy week and all is going well.
Saturday was spent baking a birthday cake for my twins' birthday party which we had on Sunday. Thankfully they picked one I had done before that is quite easy - the Pink Piggy - so it didn't take too long...
mmmm the cake mix...
Harry testing out the cake mix...
Placing all the pieces...
The finished masterpiece....
Then the kids went over to their Granny and Grandad's for a sleepover and we went to a 30th Birthday Party - sorry, no photo's yet.
Then Sunday was the birthday party - it was just family this year (we do the big parties with their friends every 2nd year) but was still around 20 people!!
The kids with their Great Auntie Val who knitted these gorgeous Topsy Turvey dolls for Riley and Charlotte. (you know.. they are asleep at one end and then you pull the dress over and they are awake at the other end).
Charlotte, Riley and Harry - so hard to get a good photo with them all looking!!
Trying to do the Party Poppers...
Posing with the cake...
So, the rest of the week to come is Riley and Charlotte's actual birthday tomorrow (not doing a lot, just taking them to the park before Harry's swimming lesson - we'll probably have a little picnic for morning tea - then pizza for dinner), Saturday is the BrisStyle Indie Designers Market:
and then Sunday is birthday party number 1 at 10am and birthday party number 2 at 2pm. I think I'm going to be pretty damn pooped by Sunday night!!!
Oh, by the way, in case you missed the BrisStyle segment on The Great South East on Sunday afternoon, here it is:

Lots going on this week....
Firstly, make sure you tune into Channel 7 this Sunday 28th June at 5:30pm to catch and glimpse of me and some other BrisStyle Members on The Great South East. You might also see my little twinnies doing a bit of modelling!!
Here's a photo of some of us with the host Sofie and Producer Carol:
Speaking of my twinnies, they will be turning 5 next week. OMG, where does the time go!! In one way it feels like they've been around forever and 5 years doesn't seem like any time at all but on the other hand it feels like just the other day I was coming home from hospital with an empty back seat (thankfully I was allowed to bring them home two days later!). Here they are bundled up into the pram (which they didn't even fit into) to get to the car:
Here's a photo I took the other day of Riley and Charlotte (doing a bit of modelling for me):
The blouse's they are wearing are my new "Beachie Blouse" that I've started making. I originally made them to throw on over swimmers or for a light summer top but they look really great over a long sleeve & jeans for winter too. Here's another one:
I've listed two of them in my Etsy store but I'll be listing the third one soon and getting them into my Made It store too.
Anyway, back to the birthdays. We're having a little family party (still more than 20 people though!!) for the girls on Sunday as it was the only day in the next couple of weekends that we could fit it in. Not great timing though as we've got my sister-in-law's 30th on Saturday night. Might be a bit hungover.... eeeekk.
Then, it's also my sister's birthday today, my newest sister-in-law next Friday and next weekend we have two kids birthday parties to go to on Sunday. Whew.... gonna be tired after that !!
And that's after I have my stall at the fabulous BrisStyle Market next Saturday:
I'm feeling tired already......

June Boutique Markets Launch..
The launch of the new Boutique Markets at Portside was just over a week ago and it was fantastic. The weather was just beautiful - a little bit frosty setting up at 6.30am but once I got started I didn't notice - the stallholders and organisers just lovely and the shoppers aplenty.
I had the Boutique Markets information stall on one side so I got to chat to Rachael (one of the organisers) quite a bit and on the other side was Katie from Evie Rose. Here's a couple of photo's of her stall:
and one of mine:
I meant to get the camera out later to take some more photos of my stall and others too but it didn't happen so I'll get some more next month.
The July market coincides with the "Chocolate and Coffee Lovers Affair" at Portside which would definately be worth checking out itself - mmmmm, I'm thinking I might have to keep wandering away!! But don't forget to leave time to visit the market too. It will be Sunday 12th July from 8am until 4pm (extended hours for this event).
Don't forget though, before that market, you'll be able to find Little Diva at the BrisStyle Indie Designers Market on Saturday 4th July:
And don't forget myself and some of the other BrisStylettes will be on The Great South East this Sunday 28th June on Channel 7 at 5:30pm.

The BrisStyle Market will be here soon...
Just a reminder of the BrisStyle Market coming up on Saturday 4th July.... Hope to see you there..
Just a quick post today as I've got the house to myself ALL day so I can actually get some sewing done.. YAY !! It's a bit quiet though.... I think I'd better crank up the music!!
P.S. It was just pointed out that my "Snigglebottom's" were featured on the Handmade Kids "Fabulous Friday Finds" yesterday - they're definitely in good company!

Back in the land of the Dinosaurs...
OK, so that might be a slight exaggeration but I'm in the midst of my internet connection being upgraded to ADSL2 and there's some issues so now I'm back to dial-up !!! Shock, horror!! There's certainly no hopping on the computer quickly to check emails, twitter and blogger while the kids have breaky! Hopefully it won't last too long and I'll be back quicker than ever in a day or two.
Anyway, just letting you know that I'll be back soon with some photo's of my new designs that I'm very excited about. I got some good feedback on them at the Market on the weekend (I'll be posting about that too) so I can't wait to show you.. here's a little sneak peak of one of them..
back soon...

Favourite Photo of yourself tag...
I was tagged last week by the lovely Tina over at Little Mimoo for the latest fun blogger challenge.
It was originally started by Fat Mum Slim and these are her words:
It's really simple. I love how every photo tells a story. Some short stories, some long tales. I want to know what is your favourite photo of yourself. Everyone has one. The photo they look at and smile. It reminds them of something, some time, some place. A moment in time.
So share the photo, share the story and then tag three other people. I want to see photos and stories all around the blogosphere.
This is my favourite photo of myself - with straight hair!! Those of you who have met me understand how bizarre this is as I have very very curly hair. I was at my sister-in-law's one day and she had her friends' hair straightener so we thought we'd give it a go on my hair - and amazingly it only too 10 minutes... loved it !
oh, and I thought I should add a photo of me with curly hair too... I love this one too of me and my husband at a wedding up at Maleny last year..
Now the next part of my job is to tag three others to join in the challenge. So, I choose:
Flirty Bird
Jogirl's Journey
Mama Loves to Shop
I'll be back soon with a wrap-up from the weekend markets...

Mee a Bee giveaway prize...
I was very excited to receive a package in the mail on Thursday as it was the giveaway I won from the lovely Jacqui over at Blooming in Japan.
I won this gorgeous handmade kids Messenger Bag:
I love it and the fabric is just beautiful. The outside fabric is linen with cute little apples and lady bugs on the flap and the inside is a very dainty white with little yellow polka dots. The bag also has an adjustable strap and it is sooooo well made.
But not only did Jacqui send me the messenger bag, she knows that I have twins girls and also sent me these two beautiful little over the shoulder handbags. They are made from a thick cotton canvas and are just the right size to fit a little purse in or even some snacks or a small drink. My girls took them to Kindy on Friday to show their friends!!
If you want to see Jacqui's beautiful creations, you can visit her Etsy store, Mee a Bee. Or click here to go to her blog.
Thanks Mee a Bee for the best giveaway prizes ever....
